I must say this was my second meeting and all I can say is WoW! Very Happy Some mighty fine pickin' today! As a beginner I am glad ya'll host these meetings! Helps me to hear how different people play. Waymon did a great job on his New Player segment, except for fogetting to pull his knee levers down! Very Happy Bobby, Roger, Dale, JC, and JB excellent as always! and the feature player..whew! man Dale can pick! Those new Rains should come with a built in fire extiguishing system as fast as Dale plays he might start a fire! haha....enjoyed it and look forward to seeing a few of ya'll in Dallas! and Vic did some mighty fine singing. Very Beautiful! Thanks again for all you do!

Jody, You have every right to be excited. It was a great meeting and they are getting better each month. This club was your idea and you have nurtured it from the beginning from our first meeting in Conroe. The co-sponsorship of Billy and Patty really got us going. Then there's the regular, unselfish, contributions of Bobby Bowman and Jody Cameron. You often come to the club meeting with little sleep after a long night of playing. Thanks to both of you!

And the fan base of the regulars is a great help too. No one wants to play to an empty house. Thanks folks. And, finally, for those who haven't come yet, you better check it out. Very Happy

I came out Sunday to pick some equipment up from Bobby Bowman and stayed around to check things out, this was the first time I've been to this little get together. I enjoyed it very much. I'll have to start coming to the meetings more often. I got to listen to some good music and good picking. You can pick up alot of ideas about playing licks from deals like this with the different players and all. All I can say is no matter if you are a beginer or top of the line picker you learn things from the good pickers that are at this club. Its not every day you get to listen to the talent I did Sunday. The way I figure if you totaled it up it was about 275 years worth of steel picking experienance there just for your listening pleasure, not counting the back up band. You can count on me being at more of the monthly meetings. Next time I come I'll bring the drinks and snacks. Thanks for the good time, hope to see all of you soon.

Colby
