Thanks, Randy! I enjoyed poking around and looking at the other cool stuff you have done, too.
That marine seat looks like the answer to a lot of lower back issues. |

That's a great idea, Randy! Since I play lap steel and musical saw, having a seat like that would be handy. I like the other stuff on your web site, too. I downloaded the Lap Steel plans. How hard would it be widen the guitar from the center to build an eight string? |

Thanks for the complements.
Paul, You could widen the plans as shown to build a 8 stringer with a little modification. I had contemplated CADing up a 8 string plan to post on my website, but got no response from forumites when asking about string spacing preferances for an 8 string instrument. _________________ www.Bluestemstrings.com |

Hi, Larry.
Wal-mart, they also had a folding plastic camoflauge seat, but I don't hunt so playing lap steel out in the woods probably isn't going to be happening any time soon. _________________ www.Bluestemstrings.com |

Hey, Paul...
I just had a vision of a lap steel / musical saw combination instrument in my mind. Sort of a Junior Brown thing. You could fit the saw with a magnetic pickup and volume control. I'm pretty sure you'd be a big hit at the next steel guitar convention... _________________ www.Bluestemstrings.com |
