Hi Guy's would anybody have or know where I can get the wiring diagrams for a Fender 1000 pedal steel guitar? I am posting this for a friend of mine who has a Fender 1000 steel that some body messed up the wiring from the pickup's to the neck selector switch and the volume and tone controls. also the pedal board and the pedals as well as the pedal rods are missing, are any of these parts available? Thank You for any information that you can give, he wants to restore this guitar. |

The wiring is exactly the same as most 2-pickup guitars that use a volume, tone, and 3-position wafer-type pickup switch. You can go to many sites and find diagrams/schematics, and switching maps from applicable Telcasters (like a '72 Thinline) will be found.
Fender has an excellent reference on their site. |

What Donny said.
If you can't find it or figure it out, email me and I'll draw up a specific diagram (not a schematic - the diagram is easier for most to read because of the switch configuration), scan it and send it back to you. _________________ No chops, but great tone

Bob, the exact layout is in your email. The wiring is essentially the same as a Tele, but since the wires are laid out differently the picture I drew might be easier to follow than Fender's Tele diagrams.
PS if anyone else needs it email me... _________________ No chops, but great tone
