Hello friends,
I think I need to add another arrow to the quiver, so to speak, and want to learn mandolin. I've played a few recently and took to it pretty quickly. Sure is easier than the PSG, and lighter. Looking for a decent one, but obviously don't want to spend 5 grand on the thing. Looking for a used Weber, Summit, or maybe a lower end newer Gibson, perhaps. One with a pickup in it would be great. Anybody got anything out there?
Thanks a lot for reading my post.

Have you looked at the Kentucky F-style mandolins? You can get a new one for a decent price. My cousin has one and it plays good and sounds good. |

I sell all of the Kentucky mandolins with full manufacturer's warranty. Let me know if you decide to get one. I'll give you my most recent mandolin book with a purchase. Tablature and standard notation for several Christmas songs. _________________ Gary Shepherd

Gerald,
I may have what you are looking for ....I have a really nice Rigel A plus deluxe .....It's plays like butter, and also has a built in pickup that amplifies very naturally ....It's got really nice wood, and has a nice hard case ....The Rigels are one of the easiest mando's to play.... You can come up anytime to check it out as I'm not that far from you ...Sincerely, Jim
