I'm kinda confused by the new time zone settings and was thinking maybe I'm not alone. Some forumites have experienced problems with logins and such which may or may not be related to their choice of time zone settings. I live on the west coast, which time zone setting should I choose? |

Another thing to be aware of is that the US Government has decreed a new start and finish time for Daylight Savings Time. Microsoft has issued a non-critical patch that when installed by a computer administrator will cause your PC to adjust to DST on the new date. Otherwise, you will be out by three weeks until you manually reset the time.
This update can be obtained by manually running Windows Update and choosing the Custom button. The Daylight Savings Time patch will be one of the options you should choose. Read the details carefully, because there is also a separate Daylight Savings Time patch just for Aussies, which North Americans should not use. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
