Everybody on this forum probably knows Mike Sweeney, but if you want to learn, this Pro can point you in the right direction. I spent a day with Mike last November and I'm still working on the plethera of imformation he provided me that day. It has made me a better, more knowledgeable player. Now, I ain't no Mike Sweeney, but this is a must for any steeler within 250 miles of Birmingham. As long as the ASGA lets me punch off the time clock (I'll sneak off) I'll be in this seminar. Then I'm gonna watch Mike play his heart out. Great guy, good communicator and this is THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS PRESENT! Have someone who thinks enough of you to get you a present to line you up for the seminar. Then hang out for a great weekend of steel guitars! See you at the seminar Mike!

Mike, put me down for front row!

Thanks for the good words Tim. It was our pleasure having you here that day. I hope to see you at the seminar.
As for the security Big Bob. Why do you think I take Teresa with me. You know her as well as I do. She could take on the Tn. National Gaurd if she had too and win. LOL!!!!! But it would be cool to see you there.

I've been around a lot of great steel players, BUT Mike Sweeney is without a doubt one of the finest players and teachers today!

I'm trying to get free from working at the show to attend. We've heard nothing but the greatest compliments about Mike's teaching.

When you think of the small "financial investment" into saving years of frustration trying to figure out what Mike can teach in a few hours, it sure makes sense NOT TO MISS Mike's seminar. Email Mike today...

Folks, In order for Mike to conduct this seminar he has to have some students! Trust me, You will learn more tricks of the trade in 4 hours with Mike, than you would otherwise learn in 4 years. I would sign up myself along with 3 or 4 more players who are helping put together and running this show. We will be busy I suspect putting out fires etc. We may all sign up and just float in and out. This seminar is well worth your time and money.

Well, I know that the hotel reservations are being made by folks coming to the show. I've been monitoring the reservations. Once we give people a chance to catch up with the holidays, I think we will see little more activity on the seminar. Mike, I'm in on the seminar! I'll do my fair share of the work, but this seminar I'll attend!I was going to do another boot camp with you before Christmas, but this will be excellent for my schedule.

If it's OK with you, I'll pay you at the show. Lookin' forward to it! Merry Christmas! I'll be in Nashville on the 27th to watch my son perform across from the Exit Inn. I'm sure we'll see you if your playin' on Lower Broadway. Til then!

O.K. guys and gals. Here are the details of the seminar. You'll need your guitar, volume pedal, seat, AMPLIFIED headphones[no amps unless it has a headphone jack], a music stand, an audio recorder of some kind[NO VIDEO CAMERAS]. Seminar starts at 12:00 noon. Please be in the room to set up by 11:45 if at all possible. The price will be $60.00 at the door. Due to the holiday [MLK day] any further pre regestration might not get here in time. We will go for an hour and a half then take a small break then finish up the class. I hope we have a full room cause it's gonna be a fun and informative afternoon.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me via email at stlplyr@yahoo.com.
See y'all in Birmingham. And thanks to Bill Cook and all the Alabama Gang for having me down to the show. I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends and making some new ones.

Mike Sweeney is without a doubt one of the top three "teachers" and his time with us will accelerate our playing by years! Also, Mike is one of the featured steel players -- what a superb player! See you all there....
