Does anyone know who made these
cheap and cheerful instruments?

Circa 1940's, they share the same integral chromed tailpiece/bridge/pickup mount assemply, as well as lucite 'fingerboard'
and nut with Electomuse, so that would be
my first guess.

Any info most appreciated.
