I've been reminiscing abit lately ... listening to some songs that I enjoyed in my "youth" ...
Seems like alot of 'em contained steel guitar ... of which I knew nothing about back then ...
Case in point ...

I have been going to concerts for fifty years or more and the best live act I have ever seen was the Doctor Hook boys at the height of their powers. Whilst the rest of the gang took a break Denis Locorriere stayed on stage and sang that song solo. A memorable evening and it is a pity the band did not last. |

| ive also noticed this phenomenon, I have only been playing a few months but now when I listen to a lot of the music I have been listening to for the past 20 years or so appears to contain steel guitar. Its funny how I never really noticed it before but a lot of the time its the steel that makes these records great and if it wasnt there I would have probably thought ...Theres something missing here |

My mom said she listened to alot of "Bing" while she was pregnant ... maybe I heard Dick McIntire in vivo ...
Between me and Spongebob ... my babies are being programmed well ...
