Question for Pete Grant

Pete,

I'm thinking of putting your Celtic D 8 string tuning on my Benoit 8 string resonator. I know you use a .68 on the bottom. What manufacture of strings do you use: I'm having trouble locating a 68. Also, do you have the other guages handy as well? Thanks for your time.

That's an enviable position. Two 8-strings. I'd love to hear and play them both.

I use John Pearse strings. They have a .068 in Phosphor Bronze. The .068 by itself is more than a little pricey, but a good solid string.
