I recently picked up a great little amp for the various intruments I play. The Roland KC 300 is one of the best lightweight high powered amps I've played through. It is 100 watt keyboard amp with a 12" speaker, plus horn.My steel, fiddle, acoustic, and banjo, sound great. There is a mic input, which is a nice feature also.Anyone else out there use a keyboard amp? It's a keeper for me.-Jim |

Jim,
I have a Peavey KB60 with a 12" speaker and horn ...I'm gonna take the 12" out and replace with 2-8" speakers, and leave the horn ... I use it for my acoustic/ electric instruments .... These keyboard amps with the speaker and horn also sound great running any of the virtual instrument preamps ( Pod, Behringer, Tonelab, etc ) thru them ...Jim |
