Every pedal steel manufacturer has chosen a fret marker that invokes “intelligent integrity “ in the designs of their instruments and the skills needed to properly play them. From the Atom of the Emmons, Poker symbols of Sho-Bud, Spiderwebs of Franklin and Chess pieces of MSA etc. they all require discipline and expertise to excel or become a master at the craft….”just an opinion “! MSA has once again built a better instrument than its predecessor, they are raising the bar!
