I have a seat, but it is a Harbor Freight bar stool. I just measured and cut the legs to fit me under the pedal steel. It has no back, but because of that, it's easy to get up or sit down without having to move the seat, first. It's sturdy and the seat rotates. At the price of about 40.00, it ain't bad. |

I use whatever chair is available, if there is none I will sit on my amp. Maybe that is why I’m suffering from sciatica now? |

How do you guys feel about the seats with a power source? I’ve been playing long enough now to have figured out what height I need and am considering investing in a proper steel seat. Up to now I’ve been using a power strip to connect amp/pedals/tuner which works fine but is just one more thing to carry around. |

Here's mine $19.95 at harbor freight. A fraction of the weight of a pack seat. Folds up!
