A sensible decision to cancel this year's Jamboree which would only be a few weeks away. It needs a concerted effort from all to pray for Albert and his family. These are indeed very troubling times. My country is on total lockdown, so any non essential travel is effectively banned.

We will surely miss everyone, but right now the ONLY important thing is for Albert and all the others with Covid to get well.

And for the fortunate ones that have yet to contract this horrible disease to stay well, regardless of what we have to do.

Let's just PRAY.

I'm sorry to hear Albert picked up this bug. I'm glad to hear he's doing better after receiving plasma and antibodies. I work on the frontlines of healthcare and see every day what this virus can do to a person's body. The earlier the interventions, the better. We are all praying for you Albert and Debbie. Hang in there, and we'll have a big Jamboree in 2022.

Praying for Albert's recovery from this nasty covid virus.
Also praying for Debbie to stay healthy & strong to help Albert fight thru this.

Please keep us updated on this.

I agree with everyone - the convention can return next year.
Albert's health & care is the most important thing right now.
Ron

UPDATE ON ALBERT - from Debbie on Saturday morning:
Just talked to the nurse. She said he’s doing better even tho they’ve had to increase his O2 flow from 30 to 35. They have scheduled another plasma treatment...hopefully, by tomorrow, he finishes the rendiscivir tomorrow, also. I asked about clots and she said the markers have not shown a problem with clots. Praying continued healing!! Thank you for your prayers!!❤️ ((hugs))

Thank you for this encouraging update, Stephen! While this is good news, we must be cautious in rejoicing as this virus is very unpredictable. Praying for continued improved for Albert and blessings for Debbie and their family.

Prayers for Albert and Debbie!!!! I too am on the frontlines and have seen what this virus is capable of!!!!!! As much as it hurts to miss everybody in Texas this year let’s all get healthy and have the biggest show ever in 2022!!! I have enjoyed playing the Thursday night talent show the last few years thanks to Charles Tilley!!!!!
And thanks to my adopted Godfather lol...Bill Ferguson, had a cancellation on the main show due to the virus and Albert told Bill to fix it. Bill called me and woke me up early on Saturday morning and told me I was on the show and I jumped up out of bed and got ready!!! Made this Bama boys weekend!!!
Thanks to those who are able to provide updates, continuing to pray for ALL who are effected by this virus!!!
