Those pretty little blue lights on my Webb quit working. I haven't looked inside at all, but that shouldn't be too hard to fix, right? The amp itself seems to be working fine. If I need new LEDs, where might I look?

Joe, are they actually LED's, or are they incandescent bulbs with a colored lens over them? If they are bulbs, then I've got a few here.

They are LEDs. I can't see any wires loose. They look to be in series. All the other indicators (LEDs)work as normal. Radio Shack?

What should the voltage be across the average LED?
I'm measuring 45.3 volts. That seems like alot.

LED's always need a current limiting resistor to go in series with them. Are you SURE it's an LED? If you just put 43v across an LED, it'll burn up in a second or two, maybe less.

| I'm almost 100% sure that those are incandescent bulbs. The only LEDs in mine are for the 3 way selector switch and the green one over the graphic EQ. The two big lights in mine are definitely bulbs. I had to replace them both about 6 months ago. |

I thought it was funny. Maybe I measured it wrong. But they are DEFINATELY LEDs. This is a 6-14 GP Model from around 1995. The way it looks to me is, a wire comes from the main cap and goes to a little terminal board and through a 680 ohm ceramic type resistor then there are two more resistors involved which seem to feed two lines that go to the various LEDs. This amp has three for the selector, two for the acoustic/fiddle setting, and one for the reverb and one for bass boost and another for the treble boost. Lots of LEDs. If I can, maybe I'll take some pictures and post them. Or can a person get a schematic for a Webb somewhere?

Not that it's any big deal or anything, but I found two blue LED's at Radio Shack and took a chance on their values, replaced the ones in the Webb and YaHoooooo! I have blue lights again.
