Is there any cure for rattling National/Supro thumb screw style legs? The inner half rattles against the outer half. Tightening the thumb screws has no effect.

I had this problem once with a Fender. I just took apart the inner leg and put a couple wraps of electrical tape on the end. It worked great. This may work for you.
