Recorded live in church this morning. Backing tracks are by Jammer Pro. I added the guitar. The steel and vocals are live through the soundboard, no effects added. _________________ Randal Smith alias Smitty the Kid

Way to go, Randal. If anyone has doubts about the Carter Starter you alleviated them.

Smitty -- that was great. And clapping in church! It's always so refreshing to hear nice, simple, pedal steel. What you played, in my opinion, is way more appealing than any kind of speed picking that can be done on a six-string. No other instrument can sound like what you've played. Bravo, pedal steel! _________________ Al

Randall, I liked your playing a lot. I think you were able to play something that was easily understandable to a non-player. Too often this is forgotten... the steeler plays for other steel players and forgets the common man.
You made that congregation want o come back and hear some more.
Congrats on a great job!

Nice job. Sweet, simple, and just right for church. I'll try to keep your performance in mind, as I play in church this season. |
