I stopped by last night and listened to Gary play with a group at the Austin Grill in Rockville, Md. Gary is still knocking 'em out with his Zum. I believe this is a new place, a young lady let me join her at her table, she had eaten and liked the food, the staff was friendly, sort of a family atmosphere and there is no smoking allowed, thank God. I enjoyed my stay, this is the first time I've been out in months. |

Charles.
If you listened to Gary, you sure got a treat. I have heard/watched all his videos on YouTube and must say he is one of my favorites. The man plays with taste and sensitivity. A quality steel man indeed! I wish I could get to see/hear him live sometime.

Gary is a great player. I have played bass for him a few times. One thing you can say is he is not traditional, but still a lot of fun. |

Let me add that I believe Gary has quite a practice regimen and when you watch and listen to him it's quite a treat. IMO, there's none better. |
