In teaching materials for 6-string lap and reso, which tuning would be used the most? One of these?
-C-E-G-A-C-E
-E-G-A-C-E-G

The "standard" C6 tuning I see used most is this:
1. E
2. C
3. A
4. G
5. E
6. C

I think Maurice Anderson is the only one using the other tuning. |

Thanks, guys. Good info.
But you're making me homesick. I remember SF when the niners played in Kezar and the Giants in Seals Stadium.
Also spent a summer near Santa Rosa on the Russian River.

The Russian River is still a great place to camp out and/or party. Lots of the resorts are run down. But others are being remodeled and/or rebuilt. I love it out there. |

I can't resist hijacking my own thread: In 1971, I camped on the Pacific beach at Shelter Cove (west of Garberville.) It had one cabin, one tree, and one horse. Now there's an airport.
