It's finally here. Got it today. It's my new "LAMAR" S-12 keyless w/ 7 & 5 Jeff Newman Setup. I'd like to post some pics for everyone to see. Can someone help?
Well, you know how one feels when you get a new toy.........
Thanks.

Hello Carlos,
Greetings from a former Manhattanite. Lamar steels look fantastic. Congratulations! If you want to post a picture, just make a post and click the "upload picture" tab in the upper right part of the screen. Then find the picture on your computer and go from there. If you need some help, send them to me and I'll be happy to post them for you.
Have a sweet ride with the new Lamar.

In the message posting screen, there's an "upload picture" button. Maybe you could just edit your original post and it would be there, not sure. |

Carlos, I am having trouble posting the pictures as the file is too big. I am working on resizing them, but not having much luck. I'll keep trying, though

I'm sorry Carlos. I have your pictures, and it is a beautiful Lamar, but for some reason the SGF will not accept the upload. I have tried to resize the pictures but still can't get them to post.
Help, anyone. The world steel guitar world needs to see this beauty. If you know how to post a large size picture I'd be happy to send the pics to you.

Sorry guys,
I tried to post some pics of my new toy but the pics are too large. I'll get new pics to you when I return from vacation.
With much respect,

Have you tried Imageigloo.com? I always use this site to post pictures on the net, and best of all, it's free! Max file size I think is 1000KB.
Ifg I need to shrink a pic to upload it, I go into Microsoft Paint, click on "Image" at the top, click "Stretch/Skew", and enter in, say, 75% or 50% into the "horizontal" and "vertical" boxes, same value in both boxes obviously. Keep trying until Image Iglo lets you through, then upload the picture. Copy the "Direct URL" info, and paste it here between tags like this, (img) "direct url" (/img), only replace the ()'s with []'s.
Maybe some stuff you already knew there, but that's the method I use on another forum, and it works every time. |

Looks good, but I would be afraid that fretboard would be a bit hard to see in a low light situation, maybe an improvement on that would help, other than that the guitar looks like its well made.

The Lamar is an extremely well built and engineered guitar. Smooth as butter. Easy and fast to set up & break down.
Lamar was able to to provide me with an even 3/8" string spacing from nut to changer.......this is just perfect for me.....I have a G9 tuning on mine...
these photos do not show the ebony finish very well.....but the wood & laquer work is also meticulous....

Well I'm back from vacation.
I want to thank Duncan and Steve for posting the pics.
Ernie, I see your point but that's not a problem to me at all.
Yes Howard, the Lamar guitars are among the finest. I think I will enjoy this guitar for a very long time.
Well, thank you for your coments.
Much Respect.
