Hello Bobby,
I have (2) questions. What is the weight of this guitar? and secondly would you take a trade in on this guitar?
Regards,
Wayne |

Bobby, check with Walt Fern. I saw him Sunday at Saluda, and he's talking about wanting a Millennium. |

Hello Bobby,
I have a Derby D10 9x8 lacqer in very good shape I would be trading on the Millenium MSA if that's ok.
I will be heading down to Nashville 8/26/07 Sunday and could route my trip to SC and check it out and possibly make a deal. I would be paying difference in cash, so no checks to hastle with. Let me know if interested and if Sunday works for you? I know about where you are located, had my daughter near there checking out Erskine College. She's leaving for Coker College in Hartsville SC this Friday.
Question, what's the tone like on the MSA? Are they bright sounding or do they have good body? Heard Tommy White's CD recorded with one of these and sounded rather bright for my ear. I can deal with the tone range between Emmons, and Sho-Bud.
Regards,
Wayne Wallett |

Bump for Bobby ~ hope this thing finds a good home. What a beautiful instrument!
Wayne, FYI, Tommy's CD was recorded on a Carter, not the Millennium. Here's a clip of Tommy playing his first Millennium back in 2003.

Hello Bobby,
Took digital pix last night of my Derby and tried to send them to you but I see an error that mail delivery failed to 'doubleb@innova.net' for some reason. Will try again tonight or tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

I'll TTT for BB too-Looks near identical to my D-10 M2 8+7 Except mine has the black anodized legs-For the record I have tried several different pickups (George L's, Bill Lawrence, and True Tone)in the Millenium and IMHO the George L's 10-1 pickups are the best for this horn-I ordered mine with the stock E-66's but the 10-1 is just a tad wee better |

I concur on the 10-1 pickups and with what Bobby said about the tone. You can dial in pretty much any tone you're after with pickup choice and amp settings. |
