I always enjoy playing this song every summer....
my favourite time of year. Smile
This is a Solo...one pass.
My tuning set up is Low to High: E--B--E--G#--B--E
Just learned it on this tuning and was surprised
where the minor chords and scales were to be found.
Hope it is of interest.

That was very tastefully performed.

Nice feel for the song........GREAT TONE!

You keep fabulous time.....no rushing or dragging!

What amp did you use? Anything else inquiring minds should know?

Hi Ray and thanks so much!

I did not use an amp for that clip
but went direct to my Roland Digital
recorder. The Guitar is a Gibson with
original pickup...goes back to the 50's
at least. The string guages run from .014
thru to .058.
Much of the "sound" there is attributable
to the right and left hand, blocking, accuracy
etc. with very little emphasis on vibrato.
These factors produce my particular "feel"
for the song. I am also inspired by the sound
of other great guitarists whether steel or
standard jazz guitar. I hear them when I
play. I think I stole everything I do from
everybody else. Smile
Regards to you and your music and your
dsdication to our hero Jerry.
