Hi Forumites:
It's time for this fine workingman's (or woman's) guitar to find a better home. I bought this a few years ago from a friend of a friend here in San Francisco. It's a birdseye blonde formica Dekley S12U with 7+4 in very good shape. It has a George Ls 5-way humbucker installed, so there are lots of tones to play with; and the four knee levers are not stock. In fact, they mount through the top of the guitar, through the formica. It's not the prettiest knee lever installation I've ever seen, and there are exposed screw/mounting hardware on the top, but it works perfectly. Overall, the guitar plays like a dream, and very easy to swap out tunings. Missing the Dekley logo and I don't have the stock pickup, but the original hard case is in good shape.
I would absolutely limit this guitar to a local (SF Bay Area) sale; I'd rather not ship. So, if you're in the Bay Area and want to experiment with a Universal tuning, this may be for you.
I'm asking $850.
Email me if interested.
Thanks,
Larry

Hi SIlvio, just sent you a reply.
My mistake, folks, it's a 7+4, not a 7+5. My projection and wishful thinking, I guess. (:
Still a lovely guitar, very playable and ready to give you a universal workout.

Gee, if I only had the available funds this would be mine!! I just sold a U12 Dekley and I miss it a lot!...so does the wife!
One of you California Universal pickers should scoop this gem up. The price is right, and would be great for practice or experimenting with copedent changes. These are VERY easy to make changes on.
Good luck, Larry. _________________ Best regards,

...bump and bump.
I've had several offers for shipping, but again, not willing to let the shipping folks "have their way" with it, and just a pain to send.
Just plugged it in and played it - sounds great and plays very smoothly. And still for sale. If I can't find a local sale, I guess I have to keep her.
No worries. Price firm at $850. (:

Bump up. The guitar is still available for a lucky local player. I'll keep it if I can't find a local buyer.

Hello Forumites:
Well, lots of nibbles, but no bites. I will offer the Dekley guitar firmly at the price above, and will offer it to some universally curious (or established) player in the CONUS.
I will ask that you pay for shipping, and, importantly, having the guitar boxed and packaged appropriately by a shipping company. I estimate that this will be approximiately $50 beyond the mailing cost.
I can do Paypal, or a good ol' fashioned money order.
Please email me if you're interested; I do have a few pics, not super high-res. Sorry, no International offers.
Thanks,

One last bump. Had several people express interest, but no deal. So this fine guitar is still for sale, and I will, repeat, will, ship it in the CONUS, but only to someone who will take good care of it and play it with some love.
Otherwise, back in the closet. Price still firm. It's a good deal!
