What does the Vegas weigh? What speaker is in it? Have any mods/upgrades been done to it? Thanks. Paul |

Best steel amp Peavey ever made. If I didn't have an
Evans I would buy it. _________________ Bill |

Bill, I'm with you on this one. A few months ago I had my guitar tweeked and general maintenance done by Eddie Lane in Branson. He had a Vegas 400 with nothing done to it (no mods or anything). It was just the original amp. While I was playing my guitar, all I could think about was the very nice tone I was getting. It only took me a couple of weeks and I have now bought two of them and got rid of the Nashville 1000 and Nashiville 112. I have also owned a Fender Super Reverb and Peavey Session 500. This is the best sounding amp I have owned. If you live close to this steeler, I think you owe it to yourself to check out the sound these babies produce. Ken Fox told me that it essentially a Session 400 with an extra channel. I hope to have Ken put the intense Mod in mine for the additional boost and other benefits listed on numerous posts. I love an a##-kicking amp and this one talks.
p.s. This is a heavy amp. I just use a collapseable dolly I bought at Walmart to roll mine around. I'm 60 years old and have learned to use leverage very well when lifting into the car or up to a stand. No problem. |

Hi Bill,
Is the Vegas about the same size and weight as
a session 400? Are you open to a interested in
an amp trade?

You won't have a problem selling a Vegas. Anyone that has owened one in the past will be all over this one. I just wish I didn't have so many other amps. The Evans is the only thing thats come close. _________________ Bill |
