Does anyone have any experience using this power amp for steel guitar. How does it compare tone wise with the Carvins,Peavey dpc's etc? I need it for a practice amp.Looks light and small.

I used the SLA-2 for a couple years and it sounded excellent.
That model is a bit heavy (20 lbs.) so I eventually went to a Stewart which is half the weight.

Thanks guys.I think I'll try the SLA-1 and run it bridged with a 12" Neo speaker and a T.T. fex. My goal is to go light as possible. I know it wont sound like my Mosvalve 500 but I hope it will be loud enough and sound good enough for a good practice rig.I'll let y'all know the results as soon as I get it together.
