I only know that Lloyd Green played on a Demo recording of that song with Becky Durning back in the mid to late 60's. So, not really knowing for sure, but venturing a guess, I'd say possibly Lloyd Green! (I hope I'm right, for a change! I've been wrong for so long!)

In Dallas Russ Hicks talked about playing on The "Girls All Get Prettier", so it may have been him. That is, if my defective memory is working today. Confused

I'm not sure, but I think it may be Doug Jernigan. I know he played the tune at the ISGC about the time Mickey released the song.
