Where do you get one of those "nut raisers"
for playing lap on regular guitar
ie, temporary, not taking the existing nut out

| If you need one at short notice, or if you just want to experiment, you can use a sawed off threaded bolt or a threaded lamp sleeve. The threads will hold the strings in place. It once worked for me. |
