This may be the same curriculum as his Mesa, AZ seminar this past January. If so, Doug shares a HUGE wealth of great information on both E9 and a bit of C6, have your best thinking cap with you and be prepared to listen and work hard. Great stuff for any level of steeler, but our class I'd say was best suited for intermediate to advanced players. This class is an amazing value. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

Gosh, considering what things cost nowadays, this sounds like an incredible deal -- five hours at only $10 an hour? If anyone wants to carpool, email me.
I'm in. _________________ Al

This is an incredible value. The basis for my decision on whether or not to take my steel is instructional emphasis. My guitar is C6 only, and E9 would not help me.
Either way, I will probably go just because Doug will be there. As stated in a past post, the first I saw him was in the 60's in Longview, WA with Jimmy Dickens. Been a fan ever since. _________________ Patrick Goodbla

Shoot, I'd be all over this but our band is working that night. Just a few minutes away as the crow flies but might just as well be on the other side of the world as we're on Lopez Island. Half a day of ferryin' and drivin' as it is.
You're right Al, great value!

Pat:
In answer to your question regarding how much C6 material will be covered in this seminar: I only do about 45 minutes to an hour of C6 at the end of the seminar.
I go through the scales, major, minor and whole tone scales. I also go through pedals 5,6,7 and 8. There is a twelve bar blues and one song with improvisation.
I hope this helps your decision to participate in the seminar. Hope to see you there!

Bob -- that's very kind of you! I think Bodhi the dog will have to sit this one out, though, as she insists on driving, and, well, Mr. Knetzger has offered his automobile, and his insurance won't cover three-legged canines. _________________ Al
