I've got one and love it. Actually I got Marv to convert an old Dobro for me. I didn't like the sound of it and looked into pickups but wasn't impressed by any feed back I got on the subject. The Flugarguitar is not an acoustic it's strictly electric but you can adjust it to sound acoustic or a screaming machine. I wouldn't recommend it for bluegrass but for country when you're competing with electric instruments you can't beat it. I can't remember his email but you should be able to google him at flugarguitars

I have one of the new 8 string RGS lap models and I love it. I have to say that Marv is not only one of the nicest people you'll meet, but he also pays terrific attention to every detail in building and quality. Customer service is top, top notch. I use the RGS live with a pretty loud band, and it amazes me every night that I can get a terrific reso sound, AND hang right there volume wise with the guitar player. Great guitars, great guy to deal with. The wait for me was less than a month. I'd say that's damn good for a custom made horn!

Lately Marvin has been commisioned by Darrick Cambell and George Thourogood. He is also building for Gaylon Mathews of the Gretchen Wilson band. Both Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley bands use his reso's. Marvin is becoming quite famous and rightfully so. He can build monster sounding reso's for either acoustic or electric applications. Custom colors also. I have one of his acoustic catcan conversions. I can part a Telecaster player's hair with no feedback.

I have had a Fluger Reso for the past 2 years and I will never part with it. I have the hollowneck acoustic, spruce top, brazillian rosewood back and sides. The tone and volume is fantastic with excellent string seperation. I use it live at Renfro Valley and in the studio. It mikes very well and tracks really well in the studio.

Marv is not only an excellent craftsman but a great person to deal with too. You cant help but like the guy. Order one, you wont be dissapointed. If you ever make it to Renfro Valley, you are more than welcome to check mine out and play it. Kevin Hatton and Marv brought several guitars down a couple of years ago and I was hooked on it right from the start.
