He heads up the program Face The Nation on Sunday mornings.He really has a band and does all trad. country music and has a steel in his band. Who is it?

He admits to that fact but he sure comes out with that good Texas music and has a STEEL. Smile Razz

I don't know in what context you may have heard Schieffer perform, but the band that did the CD with him and played with him in New York is Honky Tonk Confidential, from the D.C. area, and their steel player is Bobby Martin.

Thank you Brint. They had a segment on 60 minutes,thats what I saw. I guess he plays quite a bit in the area.Ray
