What pickup and winding are you/did you have put on the E9th neck?

I have a Wallace truetone wound to 17.5K.
Great sound.

Bruce put True Tones on mine
they're great pick ups but the single coil took me over to BL 710s

I tried a number of pickups for my '79 Zum D-10 lacquer but settled on an Emmons 19,500 ohm single coil -- just awesome. My second choice is the BL 710.

Another vote for True Tones at 17.5. Would go with 710's if I had to have a humbucker.

I have modded several and after many trial and error all have ended up with truetones wound to 18,500 and then tonealigners humbuckers wound the same 18,500 just what People have like here at my shop TOMMY

I had the BL910 installed when new but later changed to the 710's.
