I need to know the name of one of my v pedals. It is like an Emmons ped.but I dont think it is Emmons. It has a set pin, and also the two leveling thumb screws. Any one out there knows and can shed some light on this? |

Eddie,
There are two versions of Emmons volume pedals. The later models have a fixed pin that is inserted through the pedal bar from below. The earlier "drop pin" model has a 5/16 dia. rod end bearing in front with a seperate pin that drops through the hole in the top of the pedal rack into the bearing and then through a hole in a small bracket mounted to the inside face of the pedal bar. I hope this helps _________________ Best regards,

Does yours resemble this one?
There used to be black plastic caps where the nuts are locked together at the end of the leveling screws. _________________ Always remember you're unique..... Just like everyone else |

There are at least 3 (and maybe 4) designs of Emmons' volume pedals out there, and the one you have is probably one of them.
I wouldn't worry about it as long as it works. |

Thanks guys, Its people like you that make the Forum so great. I cant at this time post pictures,my son has my camera but shotly, I will have them up. The reason I wanted the name is I am now the proud owner of a new Hilton, thanks to Keith and Fred Justice, and I no longer need three VPs.When I list it, it would be nice to have a name for it. But as Donnie said, a name is just a name as long as it works. I also may sell my Goodrich 120 when I can show pictures. The only thing missing in my nearly perfect setup is a Jerry Wallace 1900k TT. I will sell vps to get JWTT. Again, thanks fellow Forumites |
