It was good to hear that song again. It looks like Weldon Myrick on steel and yes he is one fabulous player.

Yeah, Gene's great.

I think "Farewell Party" will be one of those songs that will be remembered forever in country music....

Great as usual; I was watching a couple others on YouTube of his, Farewell Party "Live", and Nothing Sure Looks Good on You "live". Also great; does anybody know who the steel player was on those? Apparently was a regular in his band at the time.
