Just bought a Melobar on ebay(couldn't resist!) Don't have it in hand yet, but appears in photos to be set up with six string tuning on treble side of "memory bar", 4 thin strings on bass side. Toying with the idea of an E7 for the six strings, high G C6 (GECA) on four string side. Open to suggestions! |

i have a mellobar that i bought at the guitar show and somebody had converted it to an 8 string and man is that thing sweet its the perfect guitar for a steel player to have .talk about a crowd pleaser i had to change the pick up the old one wasn't very good i put a emg pedal steel pickup in it that sounds real good real sweet but i think im gonna put a stingmaster pickup in it and thats gonna be the sh--t .if you ever find one get it you can always set it up the way you want it |
