My selection for this month is "Dust On Mother's Bible". It was written by Buck Owens and recorded by him and the Buckeroos. I've always liked this song and wanted to tab it out. However, I could NOT find the sheet music anywhere. I even calling Tom Brumley, Buck's steel player, and he said that Buck never published his music and the band never used sheet music when playing with Buck.

I wound up sending a Buck Owens CD with this song on it to a fine Christian gal in Oklahoma who listened to the CD and wrote out the music for me. I doubt if you will ever see this song in sheet music form except that which is accompanying my tab.

If you have not seen my tab, I always include the musical notation, chords and lyrics with my tab.

If you would like to give this great old Buck Owens song a try, just give me a shout and I will put it in the mail for you. I will need your postal mailing address if you haven't requested tab of me in the past.
Let's all make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Very Happy
