Boys, I just retrofitted my SD 12 Sho-Bud with John Coop's parts that he makes. I replaced everything undernieth encluding the Super Fingers he makes. I know some of you have said what a vast improvement in tone and action his parts makes and quite frankly I was a little sketical but not anymore. It's hard for me to believe the improvement in tone and playability. I've owned 2 other Sho-Buds and have never had one that sounded and worked like this one. You can not go wrong with Coop's parts.

Thank you John. You are certianly a master.

Ricky,

This is the same guitar you and I talked about on the phone. As far as I can find out, this was the onlu SD 12 LDG ever made with an aluminun neck. If there is another one out there, I would love to see it.

Very, very nice. After all these years, this is only the second 12 string Bud with a metal neck that I've seen.

Jerry, check your email.

John Coop is the man for Sho-Bud's, he put his new super fingers on my pro III and just this past week I played the guitar in a band and it sounded excellent, and it stayed in tune, Thanks John for working on my pro III.

These "Cooped-up" Shobuds are a whole new dimension of tone, that becomes released with John's precision parts--the tone that's hidden "deep within". And these parts make the 'ole 'bud play like butter!

Jerry, What a gorgeous guitar!!

John and Ricky managed to get 6 knee levers on my S-10. Here's a discussion about it: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum5/HTML/011071.html
I can't get the pics to come up, and I'm too computer stupid to add them here!

John,

If you can email me the pictures, I will post them.
In a related thread...

I have pictures of my S-10 with 4 X 5.... It would be interesting to see about the possibility getting another lever under there, and pictures of your 3 X 6 would be helpful.
