Hi everyone,

I am having a time locating a replacement handle for my case. Any body have a source for that?

Thanks,

Kirk

Kirk, is it a strap handle measuring 8-1/2 inches from screw hole to screw?
If it is, e-mail me.

No it is the original handle. The steel in the handle itself has been flattened and it hurts to try to carry that thing.

I would like to use the brackets that are on the case now and just replace the handle itself.

Do you have a leather handle with buckles that may work?

Thanks

Hey Kirk,
I have some saddle skirting scrap I might be able to cut for you. Let me know how long and how thick you need the strap. ....Joe Rouse

When the handle died on my Emmons D-10 case I put on a new Fender amp handle, and it worked excellent. Available at any Fender dealer. You'll have to drill new holes in the case though. CLICK

What Doug said. Worked for me, too.

Hey Kirk,

If the case handle is still in good shape, you might try putting a bicycle handlebar grip on it.
I found a pair of BMX-style handlebar grips with some sort of gel inside for about $2, cut through one side, and tied one onto my case handle and my amp handle with twist-ties.
It made it almost a pleasure to pick up the case.
