I have a real nice ZB S10 that I'm changing to a Emmons set but I need to modifiy or build some pull rods but we can't find a DIE that will fit either the coarse or fine thred ends. 1 apears to a #40 and the coarse seems to be a #32. A 6-40 and a 8-32 Dies or to small. What did they use for Rods and DIES ?
Serial # 0678. Any help sure would be appreciated

Norris, they are 640 dies, left and right hand threads on the turnbuckles. Eighth inch rods work. I have spokes, fret bords, and some other parts if you need them. |

I was going to try some 1/8 rod today to make some new ones. I still need to find a 6 40 left hand Die which I can't seem to find |

The original rods, at least on my '67 sn 0013, are 5/32 rods, with the threads mentioned above. Makes a #6 die work, though. |
