There's a scene from the 1951 movie "A Place In The Sun" starring Montgomery Clift and a most beautiful Elizabeth Taylor where Montgomery Clift's charactor says goodbye to Elizabeth Taylor at her family's hawaiian themed party and the band is playin an awesome soundin "Aloha Oe." on what looks like an electrified Oahu style acoustic square neck. Anyone know who the steeler was? That tone just knocked me out. |

Jeff, if you've never seen the movie it's a great classic from the 50's. This has been buggin me for a while cause I know I've heard his beautiful tone before but can't connect his face to a name. |

Hi Gary, I've seen that before but couldn't find any reference to the steeler. It's a mystery but someone on this Forum knows who it is. |
