I recently bought a Boss RV 2 stomp box here on the forum from Jim Demsey, and I'm very pleased with it. Apparently, the Boss RV2 is the first digital reverb stompbox ever made. It uses so much energy that it doesn't even have a battery option! The plate selection is very warm and responsive, and the other selections are believable as well. I would recommend this old school RV to anyone who wants a great sounding pedal with a lot of reverb options. To my ear it is warmer than the RV3. The decay is smoother. There is no harshness at all. It is made in Japan. I believe they only made these for a couple of years in the early 90's? I believe the one I have is from 1991 or thereabouts.

Thanks, Jim. I'm liking it very much.

The RV-2 was made in the late 80's. I own one,and there's no 9 volt battery clip. Power supply only. Very Happy
