I have just received a very nice 1974 push-pull Emmons D10 with 8 pedals, 4 knee levers and nearly new split cases. This guitar is in very good condition for its' age. I will try to describe it as best I can. First, it is black formica, but in what I think was called a satin or flat finish. There are normal scuffs on the end plates, necks, pedal bar and so on, but still better than most I see for this age. There is a small hole in the left end plate on the key head side, but it has been plugged and looks fine. Also, I'm not sure if the fretboards are original or replacements as they really look good. There are a few of the tuning keys that have been replaced with the newer Kluson copies which match perfectly. Also, I'm not sure how the pickups are wound as they are original single coil, but the E9th is thinner than the C6th. I have seen so many different pickups as to the ohms back then that almost every push-pull is a little different. There are split cases for this one that look like new. They are covered in gray ozite and are very nice. I will be adding several photos later tonight. If anyone is interested, please email or call for the price. This is surely a collector's item and won't last long. If it is not sold by this weekend, I will be taking it to the steel guitar show in Atlanta.

I was originally not going to post the price of this guitar, but I have decided to lower it and go ahead and post the price. I am asking $3500.00 and I might mention that the two cases with it along would cost around $350.00. Also, I forgot to mention the serial number which is: 2624D. I was told this was a 1974.

No, it definately has the Emmons push-pull tone, but I personally prefer the HWP Mullen over any guitar I have played over the years, so I have no reason to keep it. If I kept every guitar that I've had traded in that sounded good, I would probably have over 100 on hand which I don't need.

I wanted to add one more thing to this if anyone is interested in this great guitar. Even though $3500.00 is my asking price, I will sell it for $3200.00 for a cash sale. In other words, cashier's check or money order rather than credit card. This is my very lowest price for this guitar and I feel is a very good deal for this instrument.
