Sun., June 24,at the Great Western Ashley House in
Morton, Illinois The Central Ill. Steel Guitar Association will hold our anual Steel Jam. Our featured artist this year, is the fantastic TERRY CRISP from Nashville, plus a mirisd (how do like that word?) of regional players, who are excelent players in their own right.
The fun starts at 12 noon, and goes 'til 8:00 P.M., there will be food and drink at the hotel, and I understand the hotel ha an excelent restaurant in house, plus there are many other restaurants nearby.
So, come on out and have a good time with us!!!

I'd love to be there, 'cause Terry's certainly one of the best and very well worth to listen to. Too bad I live so far from country music county in America.

I plan on being there. I look forward to hearing Terry Crisp, and several of the "local" players I know to be very good.

See you in Morton!

I was just wondering, will still photography be allowed? How about audio or video taping? It was all allowed in 2005, but I heard then that there were plans to dis-allow video taping the following year. What are the rules now?

L.A.- I missed the last meeting, because I was playing the Tulsa show, so I don't know if the issue was addressed or not. Maybe one of the other Board members an answer for you.

L. A. You betcha. You can take all the still pics you want.

Tommy my friend we will sure miss you this year but I understand about the Branson thing! Angie and I just got back ourselves and had a great time. Hope you do the same.

For everyone else - Hope you will be able to stop by and join in the fun. If you have not heard Terry Crisp I guarantee you will not be disappointed. He is a tremendous player and also his wife Christy will be with him and she does a fantastic job of singing.

Since Dino was in Tulsa and missed the last meeting he doesn't even know we will be giving away two $25.00 Visa cards to help with gas..

Hope to see everyone Sun. Good time to be had by all!

If anyone is thinking about whether or not they should attend the 2007 CISGA steel show, let me encourage you to definitely go. It is a great time and the regional talent, both steel players and the band, are all terrific. This will be my second year playing at the CISGA show and I can't wait to see all of my Central Illinois buddies.

Also, I have never heard Terry Crisp play live so that will be a total treat.

Terry Crisp sounded great last night at the "pre game" kick off to tthe CISGA Show.

Terry and Christy played with Darrell Cummings Band "Smoke River".

Terrt is fantastic. A highlight was Terry's version of "Raising the Dickens" he won a Grammy on that Song when he was with Ricky Skaggs.

Will be a great day of music and fun!
