Lovely stuff, enjoyed those clips, reading his list of tunings I now have to decipher which tuning for each track, thats a fair amount of work for a newby, could the hsga possibly give tuning details for EACH track, now thats what I call helpfull, enjoyed the recordings and would like to share them once learnt, it will benefit my friends if I can tell THEM the tunings. Thanks for the post, these are quite soulfull pieces.

Danny's playing a Harlin Bros' Multi-Kord ... he's changing from "one tuning to another" ... in each song.

Thanks for the kind words.
Rick & Gerald didn't have much to work with with in making me an audio page. I am very grateful for their good work.

I recorded those songs on and old K-Mart dual cassette Karaoke Machine by recording over a previous tape 4 different times to get the bass and rythm guitar on one tape along with the Multi-Kord and an Alesis SR 16 drum machine. I had a lot of trouble getting the sound level of each instrument right. ( which you can tell I didn't ) Sad

Kevin, there actually were mainly two songs that I did not tell Rick & Gerald that I only used one tuning. All the others I did use several different tunings throughout the song with one exception.
( Little Brown Gal )

Those two were Drifting & Dreaming, and Pearly Shells, and were played with an E tuning only.

1 2 3 4 5 6
E B G# E B A

The exception was Little Brown Gal which was mostly an A tuning with a C#mi.7th tuning in only a couple of insignificant places.

The A tuning (low bass)
1 2 3 4 5 6
E C# A E A E

For what it's worth the C#mi.7th tuning is--
1 2 3 4 5 6
E B G# E B E

Gerald, If It's not too much of a problem you are welcome to change that on my audio page if it would help.
Thanks again,
Danny
