I just came across an album produced by Dougie Trineer at Bobbes' sudio back in 96' or 97' ,,,His steel was so well played ,,,Dennis Rowland was the artist ,,,it was done in French and the players had to really listen for the phrasing , and since all the songs were original , it was a real challange. Bobbe used his Emmons and played effortlessly ,,,Sphicher on fiddle.

Since living on each border , I can't spell in English,,,sorry guys,,,but, I wanted to say that Andy Riess was the guitar player and I forgot some of the other guys, the bass player always worked on Ralph Emorys stuff and had recorded with Elvis . Dougie took the tape back to Montreal and added some stuff later, but the steel , fiddle and lead were played so well. Maybe Bobbe will know who the piano player was,,,his sound was also great..

I'd like to hear it myself, I have very little recolection of it, but then, I'm getting old. I sure remember Douggie Triner, a great player and wonderful friend.
At that period of time I was producing and playing on two to four sessions a day, have trouble remembering that period of time, a blur.
I remember Jerry Fessenden also, but he hasn't come by lately to buy my lunch like he used to!

I just listened again , Mike Leach was the bass player ...he had those round , tight notes that held things together...never made one mistake or re-take. Dougie added some nylon string guitar later. I remember we had to have pizza , because the Mex rests' came a while later ...& Bobbe it's your turn to buy...
