Ran into this one yesterday.
Musta been the meds from the saturday night before
not fully worn off. Or he ran out too soon.

Just off his nut, round the bend.
Screaming, ranting, expecting respect,
and giving less than none.

One of those must put others down to
build them selves up types.
Working class struggle resentment things I guess.

The less they pay you, the more they think you're
their personal whipping boy, and perfectly
pleased to tar you for anothers mistakes,

And god forbid you say anything counter to
their misanthropic rants. Such as;

'I didn't do anything, why are you angry with me?'
#%^^**()_@&^%__@&@^_$%+*@ #U$ hole...

Fingers in the face, most of the words unprintable.
And expecting to be treated in return like he is
a gift to be savored and his poop ain't pungent...

Set up for the show, and then the guy
went round the twist,
and we packed up and left.
I always disliked the place through two bands,
mostly because of the attitude of management.

The planet Mecury musta been in retrograde,
seems other people around here also lost it.

I went to have a beer and play some
jazz and indian music with friends.

Well fortunately there are many other venues
with sane managers and better pay.
Playing the Four Seasons again tonight.
Class acts. Nice people. AAAHHH!

This is the crux of the biscuit, right here. People who are planning to tip a waitress 63 cents will rip her head off for not refilling their coffee fast enough, yet they'll give a lawyer $1000's of dollars and be totally intimidated by them. At least hillbillies know your manhood rests in the size of your truck, not the size of your wallet..... Rolling Eyes

This was Sunday night, didn't check the moon.
BUT,
funny thing at the Four Seasons this evening
the crowd from Honda apparently wanted
a Full Moon party.
So the resort put up a 20 foot white circle
around 30 yards off and lit it up... LOL.

Full moon right there 'Just For YOU!!'

5 Star resorts will go all out for
a multinational company party.
Heck they even hired us to play.

What a difference between managment style.
A screaming wingnut,
vs
well heeled and apreciative executives.
Pay check wired direct into your account.

We even got some coyote girls dancing beside us
back lit on large screen gyrating, and look too sexy.
What a difference a day makes.

Back around '81 or 82, a club owner showed me a gun and said he'd shoot any Jew who walked in to his club. I didn't tell him I'm Jewish myself. I just played out the night, packed up my gear and left as quickly as possible.

Ha! Now, that's what I call good thinkin'! Laughing

One time in Memphis, the rock band and the club owner had dispute over the amount of money we were owed. It was getting really hairy, everybody yelling, big sticks being waved about...finally the club owner decided that the best way to end the argument was to lock our drummer inside the club, and then drive off.

...INSIDE his club. Shocked With all the booze and money. Shocked Very Happy Needless to say, he was back pretty quickly. Clearly, that guy wasn't playing with a full deck.

Over the years I have played a LOT of VFW's American Leagions,Officers clubs, and EM clubs, nighty eight percent were great BUT the other two percent can drive you crazy, when you have an old retired Major or Colonel that knows absolute nothing about running a club, and can not understand WHY a bunch of redneck guitar pickers WON'T kiss his butt, like his troops did for the last 30 years.

Mike I'd a said nothing too.
And never even imagined going back,
except to pick up something I left in too
much of a rush to get the hell outathere.

This was a case of one band member stuck in a torrential downpoar in a motorcycle, and was
20 minutes late and soaking wet. In rainly season
here it can rain so hard that you have no choice
but stop and wait. Ya cain't see ya cain't drive.

The venue owner's been here long enough to know sometimes there is no choice with this level

I am sure if I bump into this wingnut in the shopping mall he will cause a scene just to make himself feel more 'manly'.
Well as the British say, if I see him, I'm gonna 'blank' him,
even if he's 2 feet from my face.
Life's too short.
