I think the caption on the last photo should be:

"Now that I've lured Herb into my "Dungeon of Steel" I can't wait to tell him he's never going to leave."

Those are some great pics. Herb must think he has died and gone to non-pedal heaven. So many steels, so little time.

While he is there you should record something and post it up. I have always been interested in his style of playing and would love to take some lessons from him. The commute from Colorado to Texas is just too much though!

We'll be taking some videos over the next few days.
We're mainly recording a lot, to complete 2 projects that we've been working on.
One is highly educational and one is all original.

We have several busy days ahead of us . .

Rick,

Great photographs and sounds like loads of fun! Please do send Herb my best!

The end product of the recording sessions sounds like some wonderful "Swingin' West" air play material. Please do keep me posted!

Hi Rick,
Herb is one of my favorites. I can't wait to hear the results. Ask Herb to play "Station Break" for you.

Hey Rick- Thanks for the post and pictures.

Old Herbie sure looking good there and I always dug his playing.

Is that my old National New Yorker you got there?? I really liked that one and played a lot of jobs with it back in 1938....al

Rick, I'm fired up to hear the results of these two projects, and very curious to know more about the "educational" one. It's great that Herb is recording again, and I know your studio is the best possible environment for this. Wishing the two of you a completely successful "mission"!

Are y'all on "The Strip" ... that seawall looks familiar ...

If I'da known Mr. Remington was hangin' out with you down there ... I'd have sent alittle extra in that envelope ...

So you could take him to Mai Kai ... for a "Mystery Drink" ...

... in the Molokai Bar

They stopped servin' them via a topless Hula Girl though

But there's always Pure Platinum ... next door
