Uses 4 knee levers:
(not sure how to notate these)
small b = half step lower of 6th string
++ = whole step raise of 4th string
++ = whole step raise of 7th string
E = half step lower of 4th and 8th strings _________________ Ricky Davis

If my memory serves me correctly, it was Tom Brumley, using his single 11 ZB. |

And if my memory serves me correctly, one of the best PSG tones ever. |

Ricky, Do you also have these changes on your steel and if so, on which levers. I know your playing has some tasteful stuff imilar to what is on this solo:
small b = half step lower of 6th string
++ = whole step raise of 4th string
++ = whole step raise of 7th string
Thanks, steve t |

Thanks Ricky, I think these changes are part of the reason you get such beautiful movement in the middle strings areas; that and talent and creativity. Big thanks for posting your copedant. I intend to steal some of these changes. steve t |

Thanks Steve for the kind words.
I do change my copedent around at times. Sometimes I lower my 7th string a whole tone; and various other things. It just depends on the things I'm hearing in my head at that point in my playing.
I think if you can hear it; and your steel doesn't do it; than change it. It helps my creativity to do that and helps me to always know what's going on under there and what does what; instead of automatic movements that doesn't involve the knowledge of just exactly what your doing, value wise to the music.
Hope that makes sense??ha......
