Something wierd happend to my dunlop pot at the last gig. I took my goodrich to my guitar tech who doesnt typically work on pedals. The whole pot came out, and he needs the original diagram I gave him to install it in the first place. Does anyone have this available. |

The attached link has a wiring digram and pics which clearly show the color, destination and source of all wires for the Dunlop pot terminals and Goodrich jacks.

Greg, I 've wired it exactly like the pics you posted. No luck with my Sho-Bud clip on pedal. Is there a diagram? I'm thinking the pedal was not wired correctly from the start. |

Hi. Here is the way my dunlop pot is wired to my Sho~Bud clip on pedal.
When you look at the back of the pot. turn it so it looks like a face, with the eyes on top, and the mouth below. (the eyes are closest together). OK, now the eye that is on the left side is BLACK. The eye on the right side is BROWN, and the mouth is ORANGE. Hope they used the same color wires when they made the pedals.
On my pedal the ORANGE wire goes to the tip of the back jack. The BROWN goes to the tip of the jack that is closest to the pot. And the BLACK is on the ground of the same jack the orange is on.
Hope my directions are not confusing. I just put a dunlop pot on my pedal last week, and it works great. Ronnie _________________ Sho-Bud LDG, Martin D28, Ome trilogy 5 string banjo, Ibanez 4-string bass, dobro, fiddle, and a tubal cain. Life Member of AFM local 142 |
