National Pickup Question

I hope this is the right place to post this and not Electronics, it is a lap steel. I have an eight string National and a couple of the pole screws on the pickup seem to gradually vibrate out of the position I set them in. I had the fleeting thought of using a tiny dab of Loc-Tite on them but I thought I should check here first. Any suggestions?
