I traded for an old Sho/bud single neck 10 st. 3 floors and 3 knees model #6131 and ser.# 5313. Can anyone tell me when it was made?
Thanks, Ben Jack

Hey Ben, email me some digital pics and I can help you. My shobud information never listed a 6131, but that does not mean everything, either. Some times the stamp is not very clear. Could it be a 6139?

Ok, now is it a square front cabinet or a roundfront?
Single raise/single lower changer, or double raise/single lower? narrow pedals or wide pedals? Is the keyhead the older gumby keyhead or the squared off newer keyhead? Rope inlay or diamond inlay? The 6139 covers many years and all the above differences and more appeared on the 6139. Post a picture or email me a picture of yours and I can help you further. They are cool guitars with a ton of tone. Cool

Hey Ben, sorry I have not gotten back with you--- I just got back from the Tulsa show. Richard has the cool link, where you can learn a lot about old buds.
