I had the opportunity to meet Jon at in St. Louis when he was playing with Nico Case a few years back. What a great guy, and one of my favorite players. I even got me an MSA just like him  |

| There's a nice (albeit short) article on Jon Rauhouse in Guitar Player this month too. If you haven't checked out Jon's solo records, they are really cool. He uses a lot of the cool musicians from the cool bands that he's played in (Neko, Kelley Hogan, Calexico etc...). I had the good fortune of catching his solo show here recently. Real nice night of music - cool band and cool songs. What more could you want? |

Jon Rauhouse (along with Joe Goldmark) have received some good press in this month's Vintage Guitar magazine as well.
"Steel Guitar Hear Attack" is definitely something different...

| I have had the honor of playing and touring with Jon a few years back. Great tone, taste, and touch. A very funny character as well! We are playing together at the Ryman in June and I can't wait!!! |
